    Mark Shashoua

    Mark Shashoua

    Chief Executive Officer

    Mark was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in September 2016. Mark was previously the CEO of i2i Events Group, the event arm of Ascential plc, where he spent five years leading the internationalisation and diversification of the business.

    Mark is a prominent figure in the international events industry and was one of the founding members of the company, then called ITE Group, in 1991, where he was a senior Director and Board member for eight years.

    Mark’s focus is on evolving the business and working towards achieving its ambition. He spends considerable time alongside regional leaders and event teams, discussing the strategy of each market-leading show and planning for sustainable growth.

    Mark is passionate about representing the evolution of customers’ behaviours in the events industry and pioneering constant change, while delivering value to shareholders.

    Andrew Beach

    Andrew Beach

    Chief Financial Officer

    Andrew was appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Group in October 2016. Andrew is experienced in corporate transformations, M&A and corporate fundraising. He was previously the Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Ebiquity plc, the AIM-listed marketing analytics specialists, where he spent nine years overseeing the rapid expansion of the business to 20 offices in 14 markets, employing over 900 people.

    Prior to joining Ebiquity, Andrew spent nine years at PwC as part of the Entertainment and Media assurance practice, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) in 2000.

    Andrew’s passion lies in business partnering and he is focused on ensuring that each area of the business has a dynamic and strategically focused finance business partner at its side. Andrew also believes that the provision of timely event-level commercial finance data allows the business to make effective decisions to help deliver growth.

    John Gulliver

    Chief Operating Officer

    John has been our Chief Operating Officer since October 2017. As well as leading our iconic Transformation and Growth programme, John also has responsibility for implementing our best practice model across our global network of exhibitions.

    Prior to joining, John held senior operational and finance positions in growing media businesses. His previous role was at Ascential Events (and i2i Events Group Ltd before that).

    John’s current focus is on bringing change to an industry which hasn’t changed for decades, and inspiring people to embrace and feel excited about that transformation. John is in his element when working in a change-led environment and loves the passion, energy and sense of achievement that occur as the company, and the people working within it, realise their potential. 

    Corina Holmes

    Corina Holmes

    Chief People Officer

    Corina joined us as Chief People Officer in July 2018, bringing with her over 25 years’ experience of leading Global HR functions for large, complex and global companies such as Travelex, MCI and BT.

    More recently, Corina was Director of Human Resources for tech start-up Truphone, the world’s first global mobile business where she designed, developed and implemented a global people strategy, enabling the business to successfully grow from 200 to 1,200 people across ten countries.

    Corina loves to bring the business strategy to life through its people. Her focus is on ensuring Hyve is a great place to work, adding value to the business by attracting and retaining the best people, and enabling a vibrant culture of success.

    Helen Milburn

    Helen Milburn

    General Counsel

    Helen is responsible for leading our global legal team and for overseeing our worldwide legal affairs including corporate, commercial, litigation, and intellectual property matters. She joined in 2019 from ‘Big Four’ consulting firm EY, having previously been Acting General Counsel for FTSE250 venture capital investor IP Group plc. Helen read Law at Newcastle University and is qualified to practice law in England and Wales.

    Helen is an M&A and investment specialist corporate lawyer, with a breadth of experience advising UK and international boards and companies. Helen’s career to date has seen her work in the UK, US and Australia advising entrepreneurial businesses and delivering legal support to clients, organisations and internal stakeholders in challenging and fast-paced environments. 

    Helen is passionate about the practice of law and making law accessible as a career to everyone.

    We have over 1,200 colleagues worldwide, committed to designing and hosting more than 120 brilliant events every year across Europe, Asia, Africa and South America.

    Our global team of experts works across 17 offices around the world, applying their local expertise and knowledge to make our events must-attend for every single one of our customers.

    Our business is organised into six divisions, each one led by an experienced and knowledgeable Director.
